The Chengdu Giant Panda Museum is closed for maintenance on Mondays, except for China’s statutory holidays.Bamboo Tower is closed for maintenance on Tuesdays, except for China’s statutory holidays, and will be shut in case of unfavorable weather. The Panda Art Museum is closed for maintenance on Mondays, except for China’s statutory holidays.

Giant pandas are intolerant to heat. When the weather is cool, giant pandas will be active in the outdoor arena. But when it is hot, for their health, giant pandas will go back indoors to avoid the heat. Sorry for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
In order to protect the welfare of animals, the animals inside will be free to go in and out of the indoor and outdoor fields. At some outdoor fields, visitors may not be able to see the animals; in cases of bad weather, natural disasters, or enclosure due to construction, maintenance, and breeding, some sites may be temporarily closed.
