Introduction

The Summer Palace landscape, dominated mainly by Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, covers an area of 3.009 square kilometers, three quarters of which is under water. Its 70,000 square meters of building space features a variety of palaces, gardens and other ancient-style architectural structures. Well known for its large and priceless collection of cultural relics, it was among the first group of historical and cultural heritage sites in China to be placed under special state protection.

  • Free admission for children under 6 years old (including 6 years old) or under 1.2 meters tall (including 1.2 meters);
  • Visitors aged 60 and above can enter the park with their passports;
How to use tickets
  • Please enter the park with you Passport or ID card through the East Palace Gate, North Palace Gate, New Palace Gate, South Ruyi Gate, North Ruyi Gate or West Gate, and have your QR reservation code and Passport or ID documents checked before entry.
  • Please pay attention to the deadline time for checking ticket. On the day of your tour, please make sure that you can enter the scenic spot before the deadline time. Otherwise, you will not be able to go into the scenic spot, but the ticket has been checked at the gate already that the ticket cannot be refunded.
