The name 'Yu' means 'pleasing to the eye,' and the garden is renowned for its beautiful landscape design, rock formations, pavilions, and ponds. Today, it is a popular tourist destination surrounded by a bustling market where visitors can find souvenirs, traditional snacks, and Chinese crafts.

In the classical garden, walkways can be uneven with steps, stone bridges, slopes, ponds, and mossy areas. Please watch for safety signs and be cautious to avoid falls.
Vulnerable visitors (elderly, weak, sick, disabled, pregnant, minors, intoxicated) should be accompanied by a guardian or attendant.
During rain or snow, paths are slippery; avoid staying under trees or eaves in strong winds or thunderstorms.
Strollers and wheelchairs are permitted but use them safely. Follow designated routes during restoration or maintenance.
Due to limited facilities, no luggage storage is available; keep your belongings secure.

Free ticket policy

Children with a height under 1.3 meters (inclusive), or aged under 6 years old (inclusive), are granted free admission when accompanied by an adult (non-group visitors, one adult can bring up to three children).
